    Hi,

Many, many thanks for your blog. Your info/photos/thoughts are all a great comfort to me – I’m having a breast reduction in 2 days time. Your size is similar to mine, so it is very helpful in seeing where I hopefully will be in a few months time. They look AMAZING!! Congrats~

Your blog and pictures are great and very helpful! I am 19 and just had breast reduction surgery three weeks ago. I went from a 38H to a 38C and although I get dizzy when I look at my breasts in the mirror now, I know that soon I will be able to actually look at them!

I am 19 years old and have been thinking about having the surgery done. I am a 32J. I have a little tummy and waist but have huge boobs. My mother is ashamed of them. I am in college so she can’t dictate what I wear anymore, but while I was in high school, she would never let me wear anything form fitting or flirtatious. I consider my style modest, but i wanted to wear shirts that fitted my waist and hips. Anyway, I have gotten a a lot of attention from them and a lot of it was not unwanted. I like them a lot. However, shopping for bras and clothes is very very frustrating. I am in tears when I cannot find a single dress for church. But my mother has been pushing me to get this surgery done. I don’t want to do it because she told me to. I want it to be my choice. But like I said before I do like my boobs. It’s kind of nice to naturally have the body people get surgery to have. They do not define me, but I do have confidence in my body. But It does cause a lot back pain and frustration when I’m shopping.
    Does anyone have any advice?

You have to decide what to do, not your mother. It sounds like your really are a great girl. Don’t let anyone push you about (even your mom) Yes boobs are a nuisance and I’m waiting for surgery to reduce mine but your really must be proud of who you are. If you think the boobs are not such a pain then hang onto them girl. Enjoy being 19. Be proud of your body and more importantly be proud of yourself

Hi there, I’m day 4 post op and I feel like they are getting bigger. Yours seem to have gotten smaller in size throughout the recovery process. What cup size did you end up being?

I think that’s due to the Arnica I was taking. I had NO swelling. I ended up a small C, now more like a large C, as menopause has put a little weight on me.

I am 3 weeks post-op for breast reduction surgery going from a 38DD to 36C. It’s been a slow recovery with the added procedure of “contouring” (i.e. liposuction) on the sides of my breasts, under my armpits. I cannot lift my arms straight out to the side and above my head and wonder if this is normal and if so, how long before I get full range of motion back.

    • Hi Anne,
      Congratulations on your new girls!
I found that it took several weeks before I had normal movement.
Arnica will help immensely with this, helping with swelling and bruising 🙂
Hang in there – its a few years for me and it’s still the best thing I ever did!
      XO

Thank you! It’s only been 3 weeks so I need to be more patient. Oddly enough, my doctor doesn’t recommend Arnica. He told me studies have been inconclusive and he’s read some studies where it has actually been harmful.
